My name is Zainab Burhanpurwala (Kitabi). I was a software developer by profession until recently when I gave birth to my daughter. I was not able to re join work because of the demand of being a mom. I do miss my work place but when I see a smile on my baby’s face it makes me forget everything.
Anyways, enough about me.
The reason why I am writing this blog post is, some time during my pregnancy my husband discussed an idea of starting a firm together. He is from data analytics and data visualization background and he was thinking of starting his firm providing similar services. I helped him develop his company’s website and we were up and running.
All throughout my career I was involved in creating, maintaining and updating various website and this field of data visualization was fascinating to me begin with and soon it became my second calling. I read as much as I could in the past year or so about this domain and I thought of sharing whatever I learned in this series of blogs.
This series of blogs would be really helpful for:
- IT / Business Managers of medium scale companies who have over invested in data visualization and would like to take back control from their vendors to increase their return on investment.
- IT / Business Manager of small and medium scale business who are evaluating various option of implementing data visualization in their organization without doing huge investment.
- Sole Proprietors or partnership firms who wants to leverage their data to make informed decisions
- Students or anyone who wants to learn more about data visualization i.e. different types of software, best practices, use cases, etc.
I am pretty excited in doing this hope you help by reading and giving your valuable feedback in future.
Thanks!!!
